Tara-Elizabeth wanted to do two themes, one with a particular dress and another in a bikini. So we did a two hour shoot at Longr Reef, on Sydney's northern beaches.

Some of the dresses I shot in shade and used 2 SB 910's in umbrellas, triggered with pocket wizards. The other shots were done in full sun, so I generally used only one remote flash in a soft box, and used the sun as a seperator. Usually I would drop the ambient or background light down a stop ot two to make the model stand out. But as it is heading to winter I thought I would give them a summery feel and slightly overexpose the ambient/background to make it feel warm.

This is my fourth shoot with the D800 and the Nikkor 85mm f/4 lens - a great combination for this type of work.
